Happy Deepavali!

Deepavali in Singapore is a celebration unlike any other. Here are 4 great ways to join in the fun!

1. Go to Little India to see the decorative light displays. Expect lots of dazzling, vibrant colours. Make sure your camera is ready for Instagram-worthy pics!

2. Have the kids get some henna body art done by street vendors. Prices start at $7 and depend on the size and intricacy of the chosen design.

3. Buy Indian sweets at the bazaars at the Little India Arcade (48 Serangoon Rd) or at the field opposite Mustafa’s Shopping Centre (145 Syed Alwi Rd).

4. Get a taste of Indian food at Apollo Banana Leaf, famed for fish head curry (54 Race Course Rd), or Sakunthala’s Food Palace, for chicken biryanis (66 Race Course Rd).
