With over 100 stalls lining up the streets of Chinatown, visitors can shop for the many New Year traditional goodies and feast on mouth-watering delicacies, enjoy the brilliant lights and decorations of the stalls. You’ll find loads of cookies, decorative items, waxed duck and preserved fruits to potted plants and clothing. There are also a number handmade jewellery stalls at the Street Market – perfect for souvenirs!

As we usher in the Year of the Pig, the stunning annual Street Light-Up this year features handmade sculptured lanterns of Pigs, flowers and greetings. Combining traditions with modern design, visitors will be enthralled by the creativity of the contemporary street light-up design. Expect the official light-up and opening ceremony on the 20th of January. Streets of Chinatown will be lit for 6 straight weeks, so get your camera ready!

If you’re a lover of flowers and plants, you won’t want to miss this spectacular one-stop shop for all your floral needs. The highly anticipated Flower Market finally makes it return to Chinatown after a decade, bearing a huge array of Lunar New Year blooms. Everything from pussy willows and money treats to pineapple plants and tangerine shrubs will be available for purchase, but even if you’re not buying anything, you’ll still appreciate the visual spectacle.
