For a third year in a row, The Finder Kids and Cluny Court co-hosted a free, kid-focused Easter fest!
Held at the heritage mall Friday, 12 April, 2019, from 3 to 6 p.m., the “Hoppy Easter Egg Hunt” led attendees throughout Levels 1 and 2 to complete fun activities, enjoy treats and mix and mingle with other festive families.
Watch the video here, then flip through the gallery below to see who was there and what cool stuff they did. (Didn’t make it? Like us on The Finder‘s Facebook page and our The Finder Kids‘ page, too, to get first dibs on future events!)
A Day Out: Singapore’s Cluny Court Heritage Mall
6 BEST Places To Get Your Grub On At Expat-Friendly Cluny Court
“Welcome to the party! Please join the Registration queue.”
The Finder Kids‘ bunny-eared team quickly signed in families who had preregistered online, so they could start having tonnes of fun. (Did we mention the event was totally free?)
Kids and parents familiarised themselves with our handy Activity Map, which noted participating tenants and other must-visit stations around the mall.
Cluny Court splurged on darling stuffed rabbits for each of the kid-tendees.
Aren’t they cute? The small human and the doll.
Behold this pint-sized Picasso’s Blue Period. And, just FYI, this is where you could sit for one of the store’s various workshops for adults and kids.
Cluny Court Family Dental put out its family favourite Spin-the-Wheel. What did winners win? Toothpaste, dental floss and a travel toothpaste. Score!
At The Big Blow, children were offered Easter Egg Treats. (ICYC: After kids completed each Activity or Treat station, they earned a stamp on the Activity Map. Completed everything? They earned an extra sweet and a sense of accomplishment.)
Groovy Gifts gave kiddos a choice of one plastic egg from each of three bins: Toy Car, Putty or Chocolate. Tough decision!
But, seriously, why decide? Groovy Gifts generously allowed most kits, er, kids to choose up to two eggs.
Down on Level 1, Plain Vanilla created an active game, in which children wore a tissue box around their waists…
…then hopped around to get out the colourful “eggs” inside.
Over at EGA Juice Clinic, multi-generational families were loving their free gift of cold-pressed juice.
“Wait! There’s still more fun stuff to do upstairs.” Note Cluny Court’s eye-catching cherry blossom installation in the background. It was a fitting decoration for sakura season and our spring fete.
The Finder Kids had an old-fashioned egg toss game, with differing distances for “Little Kids” and “Big Kids”.
“Say ‘Cheese!'” This year’s photo area was run by SixSheet Photobooth, which had a snazzy camera that captured still photos, GIFs, 3-D photos and other cool effects.
The photo team brought a table full of props, some cheekily irreverent (hello, Grim Reaper’s sickle!).
“Hot cross buns, hot cross buns. One a penny, two a penny, hot cross buns.” Actually, these hot cross buns were completely free, courtesy of Simply Bread.
And, now we’re just going to show you more photos of our adorable attendees.
These three brothers show correct usage of “bunny ears” for this photo.
This little girl brought her own decorated Easter basket and wore a perfectly pastel ensemble. #thathatthough
An alternative application of “bunny ears”: sideways as a masque! Attitude not included.
C’mon, who doesn’t love free treats and happy kids?
Finally, it’s Lucky Draw time!
We started with a giveaway portion just for the kids, giving out six prizes donated by Cluny Court.
Editor-in-Chief Sara with our last-but-not-least Lucky Draw winner.
Guests went home carrying lots of loot and wearing plenty of smiles. Hope to see you next time!
