As the longest-running British international school in Southeast Asia, Tanglin Trust School equips students aged 3 to 18 years with an informed, international perspective.
A vibrant co-educational environment, the school comprises 2,800 students from more than 50 nationalities spread across Nursery through Sixth Form. Tanglin is also the first school in Asia to be awarded with a Silver Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA) and achieve Curiosity Approach Accreditation.
As a not-for-profit school, the fees at Tanglin are devoted towards providing a first-class education, and it is the only international school in Singapore to offer A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at Sixth Form. Each student has the opportunity to choose a programme tailored to the subjects he or she is passionate about as well as a suitable style of learning. This ensures that they thrive and flourish during their time at the school.
Academic excellence is top of mind at Tanglin, and its students’ examination results have consistently surpassed local and international averages. Ninety-five percent of its students are typically accepted into their first or second choice universities, some of which are the world’s best. Tanglin is inspected each year within the British Schools Overseas (BSO) framework, recognised by Ofsted. It has been awarded Outstanding, the highest possible grade.
Its professional and dynamic staff aim to set high expectations for the students while offering strong support. As a result, Tanglin produces a community of lifelong learners who contribute confidently to the world. In 2019, 26 Tanglin graduates were recognised with the Pearson Edexcel Outstanding Learner Awards. 21 graduates from the Class of 2019 also received the National Youth Achievement (NYAA) Gold Award.
“Tanglin Trust School makes children feel valued, nurtured and secure in a big international school environment whilst providing them with the best education possible. I’ve seen a huge increase in my son’s confidence since starting, and he genuinely looks forward to going to school every day. It is a testament to both his teachers and the school’s environment. The classrooms are calming yet stimulating, while the enormous playground is a dream for young children.” – Kirsty Spyropoulos, mother of Leo.
