A pioneer in the Early Childhood industry since 1978, Kinderland has nurtured more than 20,000 children across 60 centres in 7 countries.
The school believes that every child has the potential to be the best he or she can be, while experiencing the joy of becoming life-long learners.
Empower your child to be a competent learner with Kinderland’s Integrated Curriculum (KIC), including a wide variety of offerings such as its unique Children’s Music Programme, Literacy Through I.T., KinderFit Cardio-Wellness Programme and Coding. These classes aim to build and develop your child’s skill in literacy, numeracy and creative writing.
A key component of the Kinderland curriculum is the Children’s Music Programme, an exclusive keyboard music programme conducted by professional music teachers. Since 2010, Kinderland’s flagship and largest centre at Yio Chu Kang has expanded its curriculum to include an elective programme, featuring the only preschool percussion marching band for children aged 4 to 6 years old in Singapore. Preschoolers who participate in this elective have the option to learn a variety of instruments – think snare drums, keyboards and more – as well as build on existing musical and rhythmic skills learned in class.
Kinderland’s Integrated Curriculum incorporates themes that connect children gradually to their growing world, allowing them to embrace their new knowledge with ease. The same themes are taught in English and in Mandarin to help children develop strong bilingual literacy, as well as a sound knowledge base for advanced learning. Starting August 2019, Kinderland’s centre at Marine Parade will offer Japanese classes for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Taught by qualified native educators, your child will learn the Japanese language and culture through seasonal and traditional events.
Offered in selected centres islandwide, Kinderland enhances its KIC with a STREAM programme in Science, Technology, Reading and wRiting, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. These classes allow children to engage in active learning in these areas through inquiry-based project work, from idea development and researching to constructing and assembling.
