As the only southern-hemisphere school to offer both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Australian curriculums, the Australian International School consistently achieves outstanding academic results across all areas of the curriculum.

In 2017, AIS achieved a 100-percent pass rate for the second year in a row on the IB Diploma Programme, and saw 9 students appear on the New South Wales HSC Honors Roll. Students in the lower years exceeded expectations, with 91 percent of Year 5 students achieving National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) results in the top 3 bands, and 4 “top in the world” International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) results in Maths, Drama, and more.
