Kinderland provides quality infant care and offers a bilingual preschool and kindergarten education.
Its success has led to a regional preschool network of more than 60 centres across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, China and Cambodia, which nurture more than 20,000 children. Through its wholesome curriculum and excursions, the students learn more about being socially responsible in their early years. Its efforts in promoting sustainability in its curriculum and school compounds have also granted them the School Green Award under the Innovation Grant Project (IGP).
Kinderland recognises the importance of developing a child’s language literacy through music.
Its Children’s Music Programme provides all students (from Nursery to Kindergarten) with the opportunity to express themselves
through music. As part of its core curriculum, Kindergarten 1 and 2 children get to attend Keyboard classes taught by qualified music
specialists once a week.
The school offers a unique physical education programme, KinderFit, which nurtures healthy habits and lifestyle through cardio wellness instruction.
The structured wellness programme enables students to prioritise healthy living from a young age. It includes lessons on fundamental movements, nutrition, and customised meal plans.
Literacy Through I.T. is a comprehensive computer-based, multi-sensory instructional system designed to help children to write even before learning to spell or read. The programme is structured based on the phonemic principle, where children express their own form of written language according to how it sounds phonetically, through sound or letter associations.
“Kinderland provides a safe environment where every child is cared for, respected and supported. They have access to various activities throughout the day, and teachers work with children individually, in smaller groups and as a whole group at different times during the day. The school’s educational approach helps children learn independence and develop executive functioning skills, leadership, logical thinking, creative expression and more. Rena loves going to school and her academic achievements have improved!” – Lydia Chang, mum to Rena, 6 (K2)
