If you haven’t checked out these new shops at Cluny Court, it’s time for another visit (or 10!).
Unlike Singapore’s many sleek, high-rise retail centres, Cluny Court is housed within a historical conservation building. The charming two-storey mall faces the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – giving it a unique air of heritage and nature as you peruse its shops.
Personally curated by director and founder Andrea Groth (one of The Finder’s 2017 Expatpreneur Award winners, by the way), the kid-focused items here are well-crafted and, most importantly, fun. It carries toys, books, craft supplies, partyware, furniture and much more, and is a much-welcomed sight when you exit the escalator on Level 2. (#02-35)
Pamper yourself! Check out this store’s impeccably selected collection of authentic, luxury vintage timepieces and stunning antique jewellery, like a gorgeous pair of Sapphire and Diamond earrings ($1,650) or a classic Breitling Colt Chronograph Automatic steel watch ($1,980). (#02-29)
This all-day dining and lifestyle brand combines F&B, art and retail into a one-stop destination. Grab a seat at its cafe and order a stack of its delicious quinoa and potato patties ($18), or its chef-recommended Blackened Fish & Chips ($23) that’s covered in a unique squid ink batter! (#02-13)
Straight from the Land Down Under, and making its debut in Asia, this newly opened, zero-waste bulk food retailer boasts extensive offerings of more than 350 foodstuffs, including dairy-, gluten-, nut- and vegan-friendly products. Oh, and don’t forget to BYO reusable jars and containers! (#01-05A)
You won’t be able to find these one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces from France anywhere else in Singapore! Each item reflects the art of French savoir-faire, and is beautifully handcrafted by French independent designers. Bonus: Morning June stocks chic shoes, bags and other accessories as well. (#02-06)
