Make some new friends and memories at a Singapore social club!

Joining an expat club can help you settle quickly into your home away from home. Here’s a helpful list to track down your best fit.

Stepping off the plane into tropical heat and blinding sun while manoeuvring around the city can be disorienting for expats. That’s why expat clubs set up in Singapore can help – a lot! Providing everything from a place to meet new friends, to recreational sports and top restaurants, the right social club will make you feel completely at ease.

Centrally located in Singapore, the American Club strives to create a home away from home for you and your family. This is true, of course, if your home has amazing facilities, including a massive and very popular pool, state-of–the-art gym, multiple tennis courts, squash courts and serves some of the best food in town. This club has tonnes of activities to keep the kids entertained and parents feeling pampered. Need a birthday party idea? The club’s birthday party team can plan a fun programme, complete with a theme, snacks, cake and activities (bowling and pool parties are always hits).

Located on the second highest peak in Singapore, the British Club provides a welcome respite away from the city in a lush, green setting. With plenty of recreational facilities, restaurants and networking opportunities for professionals from over 40 nationalities, the British Club has something for everyone. Choose from a wide range of popular sports – facilities include multiple tennis and squash courts, state-of-the-art gym, spa and two lap pools. The indoor Mike Gorrie Playground, for kids up to age seven, is constantly supervised, so parents can leave their children there (for a maximum of 65 minutes) whilst they participate in other on-site activities.

Enjoy other club facilities such as the pool, gym, tennis courts and restaurants, and a wide variety of events and activities. For experienced riders or those looking to begin, the Singapore Polo Club is the place to go. The club conducts aqua spin classes too!
