Breakfast is no longer just for early risers.
The menu at RONIN might be small, but they sure pack a punch. If nothing else, go for the Brioche French Toast – one of the fluffiest and most well-executed we’ve had, topped with crispy bacon, braised Granny Smith apples, and a winning maple butter.

Ok, first things first: Most Instagram-worthy pancake tower ever, much? And they taste as good as they look – cottony fluffiness made better by mixed berries and blueberry coulis, served with berry sorbet and whipped cream.

Funny that “Arbite” is actually a pun on the German/Danish word meaning work (“arbeit”/”arbejde”), as this is the very place to escape from the hustle and bustle over a slow breakfast – no matter the time of day. You’ll find the usual breakfast suspects here, as well as more unique plates like Duck and Eggs – poached eggs, duck rillette, mushrooms, hollandaise, on a freshly baked croissant.

Not that we’re complaining, but it takes quite some perusing through the extensive menu – from Dutch skillet pancakes to Asian-inspired brunch – to decide on your order. Our reco: The Portobello Eggs Benedict, poached eggs comfortably nestled upon Portobello mushrooms, in place of the usual toast.

What makes Group Therapy Coffee stand out is their array of unique breakfast offerings with a twist, from their Pumpkin Pancakes with poached eggs, smoked salmon, hollandaise sauce and tobiko roe, to their Skinny Eggs Ben, poached eggs, smashed avocado and smoked salmon atop a tortilla with yogurt saffron sauce.
So we say go with a group and order a little bit of everything – it’s called Group Therapy for a reason!

The cafe’s star Organic Eggs Benedict: 2 poached eggs nestled on tender braised ox cheeks and sourdough toast, with creamy Hollandaise sauce with just the right about of zing. It’s immensely satisfying without being cloying, and if you’re still worried about it being a little too rich for breakfast, remember the adage: Have breakfast like a king.
