Donut worry, be happy
In celebration of National Donut Day today (3 June), we’ve sourced the best donuts on the island that you should treat yourself to.
1. Brioche Donuts from Tanjong Beach Club
Get this: cinnamon brioche donuts with nutella fondue. By the beach. With heart-pumping music to get your weekend grooves on.
If you’ve never tried the devilishly delicious donuts at what’s probably your regular Sunday haunt, maybe it’s time you do! (Yes, you can have both the cocktail and the dessert.)

2. Salted Egg Donuts from May May
It’s hard not to stuff your face with the Asian-inspired rice bowls at May May. But leave some space for dessert – specifically, their Salted Egg Donuts, an innovative take on every Singaporean’s favourite salted egg custard.
These fluffy mini donuts are crusted with sugar, with warm salted egg custard waiting to ooze out at first bite.

3. Parmesan Donuts from Luxe
The trendy Luxe proves that donuts aren’t just dessert foods – their incredibly moreish Parmesan Donuts (top right), paired decadently with the smooth parmesan cream, are served as a starter. You can never have too much cheese!

4. Lemon Curd Donuts from Lolla
In line with its underground supper club roots, the food options at Lolla are inventive and fun.

5. Donut Burger from Oh My Tian
Who said donuts had to be sweet?
The café a literal Mandarin translation of “OMG”, that’s what you’ll be exclaiming when you take your first bite out of their donut burger – a beef or chicken patty, mushrooms, caramelised onions, a hashbrown, cheese, and BBQ sauce sandwiched between two halves of a soft donut.
