Singapore isn’t known for being the city of love with romantic gardens and moon lit walks – unfortunately, the sweat kind of kills the romance!
However, due to Singapore being a major melting pot of global cuisine, there are a healthy number of delicious restaurants available to call upon for every sort of date you have in mind.
If you want somewhere special and a bit unique then head to one of my favourite Singapore restaurants nestled within the beautiful and tranquil Botanic Gardens. The food and service here is fantastic and they serve brunch (on the weekend), lunch and dinner. So why not enjoy a delicious meal and then finish your date off by taking a walk through the lovely Gardens?
1 Cluny Rd, Ginger Garden, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore 259569
Really tasty Spanish cuisine with small and smart restaurant area to the rear and lively bar area to the front where you can also order off the tapas menu. A great place for dinner after drinks on Duxton Hill a short walk away.

Head over to experience tropical island life on Sentosa for the day and take a long lunch of tapas at Sabio. You will definitely be feeling the Mediterranean vibe sitting here overlooking the luxurious yachts in the Marina.
31 Ocean Way, #01-02 Quayside Isle, Singapore 098373
This foodie retreat located in Dempsey Hill is great for good food in a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. Their farm-to-table (yes, they’ve got their very own farm in the premises) menu is a fun concept to us city dwellers.
Take a walk in the outdoor recreational area and gardens after your meal; you could even partake in a game of bowls afterwards too.

While away an afternoon or evening sipping wine and enjoying each other’s company in the heart of the historic Tiong Bahru neighborhood.
No.41 Blk 78. Guan Chuan St, Singapore 160078
Head out of the rain for an epicurean journey to Pollen situated within the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. Whilst you are enjoying your meal you can enjoy spectacular views of the Marina Bay skyline and after your meal you can wander through a 20-degree sub Mediterranean climate with complimentary access to the Flower dome.
