Get together with the rest of SG to fly the flag high because the nation-state is celebrating 53 years of independence. The theme this year is “We Are Singapore”, reminding citizens that their identity is harmoniously built on different cultures coming together as one. But don’t worry if you don’t have tickets to the official parade (or even the Preview 2, held on 4 August)? You can catch views of the Red Lions, the aerial fly-bys and the fireworks from great vantage points around town, such as the Singapore Flyer and the Esplanade, as well as various rooftop spots.

This is their second outing in Singapore, and the British band — with No. 1 hits like “Rather Be”, “Rockabye” and “Symphony” — will undoubtedly rock the house at their Star Theatre show.
