Steal frame by frame of mum-spiration from the lives of these ladies.
Charmaine Seah (@eleventhour) literally has it all. She’s the co-founder of the accomplished marketing and design firm Elementary Co with her husband, she’s been in the pages of The Straits Times and many other magazines such as FEMALE for her elegant, effortless sense of fashion, she’s been labelled as one of Singapore’s most stylish women in 2015 by Harper’s Bazaar… The list goes on.
But above all, she’s the proud mama to her beautiful toddler Charlie Rose Ong – who she dotes on unconditionally. Documenting the playful evolution of Charlie on her Instagram feed through perfectly framed candids, the cool creative shows us how to live a full life as a mum.
Fitness loving Jen (@jlipose) inspires us with her prowess in pulling off ridiculously awesome yoga poses and #fitspiration snaps. Mum to three munchkins (yes, three!) and a firm believer in health conscious choices, Jen fills her feed with drool-inducing healthy food photos, workout snaps and lovely sun-drenched family vacation shots. If you’re in need for some motivation to start hitting the gym again, follow Jen and you’re covered.
In addition to being a mother to the loveable Zola Mae and Ari Jon, 34 year old Aarika Lee (@aarikalee) is also a songstress who performs at gigs and major events, including this year’s Formula 1 Night Race; a milestone she shared with her husband Kevin Lester, who had his own solo rap performance during the night as well.
The hipster mum, captures many oh-so-adorable moments she shares with her cheeky, playful children while her zesty personality shines through her many lust-worthy ootds (looove her signature head wraps!). Trust us, if you’re looking for some serious style inspiration to update your look, Aarika is one fun mum to follow.
Young tots JJ and Nicco may very well be the luckiest rugrats ever, judging from the drool-inducing homemade meals captured on Instagram by their mum Rae Yun (@theramengirl). Documenting a life of sleek design and fun family time, the entrepreneuring mother also manages a children’s e-commerce known as Oh Happy Fry which sells creative homeware, clothing and gifts for kids aged between 0 to 8.
Also known for whipping up tasty-looking foods before immortalising them in the form of artistic flatlays, Rae Yun is our go-to source for yummy inspiration whenever we’re stumped by our own calamitous cooking ideas.
Former model and MTV VJ May Wan (@missymaywan) is the gorgeous mother to two daughters, Leala and Siena. Humble, optimistic and well-travelled, the stay-home mum occasionally pours herself into baking fancy, gorgeous cakes and treats for all occasions. And these aren’t just your simple everyday baked goods… We’re talking tables full of Pinterest-worthy desserts and skilfully crafted fondant-type treats, people.
Being a mum is no easy feat. Thai-born fashion designer and blogger Nira Nitikan (@niranitikan) runs an accolade-winning blog where she shares useful fashion advice, skincare tips and even her personal experience in being a mother that may be pertinent to other mothers out there.
Nira’s Instagram feed offers us a glimpse into her life as a mother to the inquisitive Terena. Whether she’s doing Terena’s hair up in butterfly clips or conducting one-on-one finger painting classes at home, the successful blogger inspires us to think-outside-the-box when it comes to bonding with our kids.
Who doesn’t enjoy scrolling through an aesthetically pleasing travel feed on Instagram? For one, we have avid traveller Ember Yong (@emberyong) to thank for her stunning exotic travel snaps that feed our sense of wanderlust. Mum of world-famous momo twins Leia and Lauren (@leialauren), the adventurous traveller has captured photographs of the tranquil sites of Maldives, the vivid cultural scene of Indonesia and even dramatic landscapes from that of Iceland – all with her pair of bubs in tow. Our hats are already coming off to the nomadic mother right now.
Super-mum Tjin Lee (@tjinlee) is the founder of Mercury PR Group, chairman of this year’s Singapore Fashion Week, and CEO of female-empowering startup incubator CRIB (Creating Responsible Innovative Business). And, did we mention super-mum? Tjin posts adorable snaps of her sons – the ever-smiley Tyler and his amusing grouchy-faced younger brother Jake. Besides that, the entrepreneur mama also manages to put time aside for globetrotting to faraway lands for family vacations. How she manages to balance such an invigorating work and home-life is beyond us.
