The surf’s your turf at Wave House Sentosa’s surfing and flow boarding party by the beach. The kids get to go on wave rides on the famous Double Flowrider, and feast on a yummy buffet of kids’ favourites when they’re taking a break.
How much: Choose from different birthday packages to suit your needs, including one for non-surfers too. Each package includes exclusive use of the party space for three hours – including having instructors on board, birthday party signage, customised e-invites, a present for the birthday child, as well as certification of participation on the ‘Flowrider’ for each rider. You can opt to bring your own cake or have the customised wave cake from Wave House.
Good to know: Additional cost per child is $23++ (for food only), or $35 per hour for the Flowrider. Riders must be over 107 cm to body board on the FlowRider, and over 133 cm to ride standing up on the FlowRider.

Forest Adventure is the only tree top course in Singapore that has been designed specially for children, offering a unique outdoor experience for young adventurers.
How much: The party package starts at $865 for 20 children and includes themed birthday invites and envelopes. Enjoy 90 minutes exclusive access to the Kids’ Course, led by two dedicated instructors, and there’ll be certificates for each child. The birthday child gets a special Forest Adventure T-shirt, a 1-kg birthday cake, and there’s water, fruit juice and reserved seating at ‘Base Camp’ for cake-cutting time.

How much: The two larger party packages are available for a minimum of 20 children, and includes invitation cards, exclusive use of Celebration Island for two hours with a dedicated party host, decorations and set up, party games, admission to POLW for each child and yummy party food. This specially-designed gym is Singapore’s first climbing centre constructed and dedicated to kids aged four to 14.
How much: There are three birthday party packages available, each of which provides climbing equipment, games and exclusive use of the air-conditioned indoor bouldering space and outdoor high wall area (the venue is closed to the public during birthday parties), and a special climbing scorecard memento. Even those who haven’t tried rock climbing before can have a fine time too. Each two-hour party package comes with one climbing instructor to every four kids. Choose from the basic Awesome Birthday Climb ($288 for 10 kids) or the Pirate-themed Birthday Party ($388 for 10 for two hours/$488 for 10 for three hours), which includes a treasure hunt with chocolate gold coins, pizzas and drinks and goodie bags; or the Superheroes-themed birthday party ($388 for 10).
Good to know: Packages are for a group of 10 to 18 kids. Prices for every additional child climber start at $25 and $10 for non-climbers (which includes siblings who join in for games), depending on the package you choose.

If your child loves helping out in the kitchen, he’ll love the opportunity to create freely at a ToTT baking party. Budding chefs will get to shape their own cookies, decorate cupcakes and then enjoy them all!
How much: The Bake & Go Birthday Package ($32++ per child; minimum of six kids) offers two options. The one-hour Bake & Go activity lets the little chefs cut out cookies or bake cupcakes before decorating them. Or, do both at an additional $10++ per child. Older children will enjoy the Hands-On Baking session at ToTT Cooking Studio. This is a two-hour hands-on session with a chef and his assistant, teaches them how to bake a cake from scratch ($55++ per child; minimum 16 kids). Each two-hour session is followed by a one-hour bistro reservation to enjoy the sweet treats. Both options include invitation cards, chef’s hats, goodie bags, and party food and drinks.
Good to know: The hands-on programme is for children aged five and above, at a height of at least 110 cm. Children below the age of seven will need at least one guardian per station.

While the kids play mini-golf, ride a pony and have cake – Picotin Express is located right next to Champions Golf and Bukit Timah Saddle Club – you get to chill out with the fellow parents at the bistro.
How much: Each child gets a Child’s Meal at $15, with a choice of pizza, pasta or fish & chips, one juice or soft drink, and a scoop of ice-cream or chocolate mousse. The menu can also be customised (including the cake!) depending on the size of your party.
Good to know: For mini-golf, entry is $6 for children below six, and $10 for those above (includes use of golf putter, balls and mini scorecards). Pony rides will include a pony and an experienced horse handler at $321 an hour, plus a $150 refundable booking deposit.

If birthdays are a big deal within the family – and you’d like to keep it in the family – head to Pulau Pangkil, a private island for hire off Bintan. Swimming pool? Check. Water sports? Check. Good food? Check. Comfy villas? Check – the driftowod palaces are all elevated from the ground to take advantage of the tropical breezes and stunning views – almost like treehouses!
How much: Pulau Pangkil is only available for rental as an island, but it takes only 10 people (from $3,450 a night) to rent the island. This includes all meals, use of all facilities, and transport from Bintan (you’ll have to settle the return ferry tickets from Singapore to Bintan yourself, though).
Good to know: The island and staff are kiddie-friendly – staff on the island are available for babysitting day and night, and they’ve got toys for some bucket and spade action by the beach too.For water activities, they have small-sized life jackets for the kiddos.
