Everyone loves toys! At MINT (one of Singapore’s many kid-friendly museums), the whole family will love exploring old and new toys!
If you absolutely love toys but don’t have enough square footage to start your own collection, then swing by the MINT (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys) Museum of Toys for all things vintage. Start your tour of the museum in the Outerspace section, which carries the largest collection of Dan Dare and Buck Rogers toys, alongside several rare paintings by Frank Hampson. The earliest versions of the Mickey Mouse Hurdy Gurdy or Organ Grinder toys are on Level 2 while Level 3 carries old childhood favourites, including Southeast Asia’s biggest teddy bear and Michael Lee doll collections. Round off the trip on Level 4 for a glimpse at rarities like the Batman Magic Printing Plate. Don’t forget to stop by the gift shop to pick traditional Singaporean games like goli (marbles), and batu seremban (five stones), and other authentic toy replicas. (Admission: $7.50 and up. 26 Seah St.)
