“I spent over 13 years in the design industry which took me from London, to the Middle East and finally to Singapore, creating designs for major brands,” shares Samantha, who moved to SG 10 years ago.
“It wasn’t until I had my daughter that my desire for professional change came.” Thus, in 2013 was born sammyeve, her company that specialises in customised art for children, including bespoke prints and durable, keepsake height charts.
“sammyeve art is not just any personalised piece – it is unique in style and hand-made with an eye for detail,” says Samantha, who is now a mother of two. “I feel proud to have given families a special piece of art that represents a beautiful time in their lives when they had their children, which they can treasure for years to come. Aside from financial success, this is what makes all the hard work worth it.”
Samantha is now looking optimistically to the future. “I have so many ideas of things I would like to do and develop but I can only manage so much on my own and I will take time to learn about manufacturing products on a large scale.”
