Take a hike at MacRitchie Reservoir

In case you haven’t heard, Sunday is Father’s Day. While there are plenty of restaurants where you can take you special guy for brunch, lunch, drinks, dinner or all of the above, we’ve got some other last minute ideas for you to do with Dad.

Take him to the driving range!

Even if he’s no Tiger Woods, hitting balls at the golfing range is a low stress activity for the sporty dad (unlike the frustration he might feel after 18 holes). Relatively inexpensive and with various locations around Singapore, this is a great way to celebrate Dad.

Take a hike!

Just because we live on the small, urban red dot, does not mean Singapore is lacking in beautiful and lush nature trails. After all, our red dot is also a garden city. Spend the day outdoors and admiring nature at any one of these stand out hiking trails.

  • Bukit Timah Nature reserve
  • Bukit Batok Nature Park
  • Admirality Park
  • Changi Walking Trail – Heritage Trees
  • Labrador Nature and Coastal Walk
  • Western Adventure Loop
  • Lower Peirce Reservoir Park

The national parks website does a fantastic job describing what each trail offers and how to get there. See for details.
