While weekend nights are for winding down, add these simple habits to your routine for a positive change.
Finding the time to spend with family can be a little difficult during the weekdays. So what better time than on weekends – to recharge for a jam-packed work week ahead, too?
If your family and friends aren’t near, taking the time to tackle emails accumulated during the work week can be agood way to start the upcoming week on a clean slate – or clean inbox, at the very least.
Whatever’s impossible to be done on weekdays, you’ve always got the weekend. Take some time off on a weekend night to unplug. Read a book. Sip some tea. Or, simply do nothing at all.
It could mean setting new goals and figuring out ways to achieve them, or even something as simple as planning your meals for the week or scheduling in time for exercise. This gives you a vision and the motivation to stick by it.
While preparing for the week ahead is crucial, taking time to reflect on the past week is just as important. Think about what went right, what did not, and what you’d like to improve on in the coming week.
