Dining at Shahi Maharani is a foodie dream come true, thanks to the restaurant’s hospitable service team and delish North Indian offerings.
“Food from the plains, the mountains and the palaces of India – these are the kinds of flavours that Shahi Maharani aims to serve,” says Ms. Hoori Sharma, director of Shahi Maharani Restaurant, which was established in Singapore in 1983. Today, it is one of the island’s most popular Indian restaurants.
Its elegant decor and lush interiors are designed to resemble India’s royal palaces of old. “The ornate doors and carved wooden furniture; rich colours of deep cream, muted orange and accents of red; and artefacts from Rajasthan are homage to Indian tradition,” explains Hoori. In addition, Shahi Maharani’s knowledgeable and hospitable service team provide guests with “royal treatment”, she says.
