Attention Carnivores! This Singapore Restaurant Is Famous For Its Signature Prime Rib Dish

This July 2018, Lawry’s The Prime Rib rings in its 19th anniversary with a tonne of scrumptious offerings.

If there’s one dish customers flock to Lawry’s The Prime Rib for, it is the Signature USDA Roasted Prime Rib of Beef.

Aged for up to 28 days and slow-roasted on beds of rock salt – a method that brings out the meat’s juicy flavours – each slab of meat is carved with a little tableside showmanship: on Lawry’s famous silver carts and with the Original Spinning Bowl Salad. The restaurant also serves its signature dessert – the Strawberry English Trifle.

“The top-grade beef we serve today is of the same quality as it was when the restaurant first started,” says Juan R. Jimenez, executive director of Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore.

Throw a Private Party
Hidden away from the crowd, its six private dining rooms – named after Singapore thoroughfares Orchard, Grange, Scotts, Tanglin, Nassim and Oxley – are suitable for business lunches, birthday parties, baby showers and even private workshops. Each room is furnished with plush wool carpets, customised crystal chandeliers as well as made-to-order dining chairs, and have complimentary wireless internet access and presentation facilities.

Join the Celebrations
In July 2018, Lawry’s will celebrate its 19th anniversary by offering a special Anniversary set menu. “Executive Chef Sherwin Sim has prepared a special four-course gustatory experience where the restaurant’s classics take centre stage to form an ensemble of flavours that are bound to satisfy,” says executive director Juan.

Start your meal with the Original Spinning Bowl Salad, spun on a bed of ice and served with a chilled fork for a refreshing twist. Then, nibble on appetisers such as a trio of Foie Gras with Thyme Gelee, Hokkaido Scallop with Tobiko and fresh Mango Salsa or Chicken Gyoza with Wasabi Mayonnaise.

Diners will also get to choose between three delectable main courses: the Signature Roasted Prime Rib of Beef, Baked Herb Crusted Salmon or Truffle Rosemary Lamb Rack. Last but definitely not least, round off the meal with celebratory sweets like Lemon Meringue Cake with Yuzu Ice Cream or Sea Salt Caramel Pecan Mousse Cake with Häagen-Dazs Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
