Initially sold in the famous Jatujak market in Bangkok, Lemongrass House products are today available in five stores island-wide and online. All products are made one kilo at a time to ensure freshness and are hand blended by mixologists using only raw ingredients. No parabens, sulphates dyes and perfumes are used and products are not tested on animals. Today, Lemongrass House supplies to more than 100 five and six-star hotels, spas and to the First and Business Class lounges in Changi Airport. Products can also be tailor-made to your preference in terms of scent and ingredients.
TF: How are Lemongrass House products made?
SP: We pride ourselves on the purity of our ingredients which come straight from nature - whether it's the botanical extracts in our shower gels, the pure jojoba oil in our massage oils or the Andaman sea salts in our scrubs. Taking care of your skin is important, especially since it faces weather elements and pollution on a daily basis. By caring for your skin with all natural ingredients you allow it to repair itself ensuring a healthy, lasting glow. Our ingredients come from safe, renewable resources so their harvesting doesn't damage the planet. And since they're grown by organic farmers who don't use pesticides, they don't pollute the Earth after being washed down the drains.
SP: I think awareness is growing because the availability of organic product has increased and as more consumers move to organic food it's only natural they begin to question how the ingredients in their skincare routine affect their health. We are passionate about educating our customers about the benefits of using all natural products through our newsletter, social media reach, website and especially through our staff. They love talking to customers on how there's so much more to our products than their amazing scent.
TF: What other ranges do you carry?
SP: We have a line for kids which includes bubble baths, body lotions, shampoos, body wash, baby powder, massage oils and after-sun gel. The products are super gentle and children love the scents.
Our Mommies range is designed to uplift and balance soon-to-be and new mothers. This includes an anti-stretch mark belly balm, massage oil and bath crystals.
Our dogs' range keeps your pooch smelling good while protecting and repairing its skin and coat. The range includes a paw balm, dog coat oil, spa dog spritzer and shampoos.
We also offer an organic fluffy cotton robe - perfect for those who truly want to bring the spa experience home - and Fisherman pants in organic cotton for both children and adults.
