How to embrace menopause

The biggest indicator that you've entered menopause is when you stop having menstrual cycles which reflects the depletion of eggs in your ovaries. During this period you'll experience tremendous hormonal changes which will affect you emotionally and physically such as:

  • Hot flushes
  • Night sweats
  • Mood swings
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Lack of energy and drive
  • Increased risk
  • Vaginal dryness and of depression pain during sex

Sometimes the symptoms are so severe even daily activities become a burden and can be exacerbated with stress from work and family commitments increasing your risk for certain cancers and illnesses.
Menopause does not mark the end of your life but the beginning of the next phase.
