Beanbag maintenance

- If you choose a fabric beanbag, make sure it has a removable, washable cover. During the initial wash, first soak the cover to remove the thin layer of colour dye - so it won't stain other fabrics.
- Quilted fabric covers should be washed alone in a washing machine, to prevent the Velcro tape attaching to other fabrics.
- PVC beanbags can be cleaned with liquid detergent and a cloth.
- When your beanbag no longer gives you the proper support, it's time to fill it with top-up beads. Top up your beanbag in a draught-free area. Close all windows to ensure strong winds cannot blow the polystyrene beads around and make sure your kids don't put the beads in their mouths. After you're done, fasten.
- To avoid major wear and tear, do not jump on your beanbag.
