Simple changes for optimum health
Start with a good breakfast of fruit and a cereal that’s low in sugar and high in fibre.
Eat at least 30 grams of fibre every day.
Switch from coffee to decaffeinated tea.
Only eat carbohydrates in your first two meals of the day.
Enjoy at least five small meals a day.
Don't wait to be hungry to eat – otherwise you’ll overeat.
Drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
If you eat meat make sure it’s lean – and organic if possible. Many animals are fed hormones and we end up eating the same, through them.
Start your day with 20 minutes of exercise – walking, cycling or swimming. You’ll soon see an increase in your energy levels and metabolism. Mind & Body
