Breathe easy with yoga
Yoga puts us in touch with our breath, making us aware of it. The correct use of breath encourages energy to flow through our body, bringing us greater awareness, flexibility and strength. So it makes sense that when you practice yoga you should always finish feeling even more energised than when you started. Daily practice can put you in touch with your breath every day. So even 10 minutes of yoga each day, is usually better than overdoing it in a class once a week. Ask your teacher for advice or a few poses to help you maintain a daily practice. That way, when getting to class is just not possible you can still practice at a time that works for you – and feel good every day. Elle Sakrzewski
