Waxing after-care
To remove waxing residue, opt for a:
Milk Cleanser containing calendula oil, oat extract and sunscreen to soothe and protect your skin from irritations and the sun, or an
Oil Cleanser with nourishing wheat germ and Guaiazulene for its anti-inflammatory and soothing effects.

Recently waxed areas are more prone to hyper-pigmentation so wear a sunscreen while outdoors.

Refrain from heavy exercise for 24 hours.

Avoid visiting saunas, steam rooms and whirlpools for at least 48 hours.

Don’t wear tight clothing over freshly waxed areas to minimise irritation and ingrown hairs.

After 24 to 48 hours, exfoliate to prevent dead skin from accumulating in open pores.

How to prevent ingrown hairs
Some people are more prone to ingrown hairs than others. Ingrown hairs occur when hair grows under the skin, causing bumps or dark spots to form. This usually happens to people who shave, but with waxing some new hairs may also grow under the skin.
Exfoliate Give the area a good scrub about three days after waxing.
Salon care Some salons offer complimentary or add-on ingrown hair serums before the waxing session which help tremendously.
