How to: live in the moment
Being mindful is one way to effectively reduce stress and live in the moment.
1. Before getting out of bed, take a minute to notice your breathing.
2. As you shower, feel the water, smell the soap.
3. At breakfast, notice the flavours, textures and smells of what
you're eating.
4. Take mini breaks during the day - notice your breath, thoughts and body sensations.
5. Take a few minutes to "transition" from the day before arriving home.
