Do you have an overactive bladder?

If you need to visit the bathroom more often than usual, you could have an overactive bladder caused by excessive bladder contractions.

Although this condition is more common in young and middle-aged women who are otherwise healthy, it can also affect men experiencing prostate problems.

Treatment
1.
Book a proper medical evaluation to make sure you're not experiencing anything more serious and to start treatment. You may wish to see an urologist - a specialist in treating urinary tract conditions.
2.
A once-daily dose of medication can help suppress bladder contractions for better bladder control.
3. Pelvic floor exercises - also known
as Kegel's - strengthen the layer of muscles which help hold urine within the bladder.
4. If the problem persists, Botox can be injected into the bladder muscle through an endoscope - eliminating unwanted bladder contractions. This procedure can be performed as day surgery.
