Trattoria Milano offers high-end Italian cuisine in a cosy, humble West Coast neighbourhood. This family-run restaurant, helmed by Chef Domenico Truglia supported by his wife and daughter, is tucked away within an obscure street off Upper Bukit Timah Road, but is definitely worth the hunt. Signature dishes include Squid Ink ravioli in capsicum sauce, baked Cannelloni and Fettuccine alla Piedmontese - al dente pasta, strips of beef tenderloin and mushrooms tossed in truffle oil and cream sauce. Set lunches available Tuesdays to Fridays start at just $22.
