Polystyrene foam - a white substance which has the appearance of foam - is as light as air, but when it's contained it can support a person's bodyweight. Beanbags are almost featherweight, but they actually provide the perfect combination of support and comfort.
Beanbags are typically associated with being very hard to clean, but Bean Bag Mart has solved this problem by creating a wide range of washable and water-resistant beanbags. Each is made locally from designs adapted to suit Singapore's tropical climate, making each beanbag comfortably cool. The outer cover is made of 100 percent cotton - among other materials - and can be easily removed for washing, while an inner cover is made of water-resistant nylon.
Beanbag dos and don'ts
- Ration out your high dives and bungee jumps. Jumping on your bean bag may be fun, but it will to put stress on the seams and may cause it to burst.
- Use beanbag filling to top up your bag when it's low on beans.
- Sit in your beanbag regularly, so it feels loved and wanted.
- Wash your bean bag when required.
- If your beanbag cover is made of leather, condition it regularly with oil or leather cream to ensure the leather stays supple and strong.
