How to hang a mirror

1. When shopping for a mirror, take along the dimensions of your wall. The reflections in the shop may make a mirror look larger than it really is.

2. When hanging a mirror, be sure to leave enough space above a table or sideboard to avoid unsightly reflections of toiletries, or the reverse side of photo frames.

3. Placing a lamp in front of a mirror doubles the light in a room. Placing a vase of flowers in front of a mirror gives them extra depth.
