Dutch courage

Hollandse Club recently celebrated its 100th anniversary! Founded on May 5 1908 by a group of Dutch businessmen working in Singapore, the Club has long provided a “home” for those separated from their friends and family by distance. While initially there were no Club premises, the Hollandse Club has since had three addresses. The most recent being it’s current one at 22 Camden Park, where it moved in September 1950 when it was reformed following World War II. Today the Club has a multitude of members comprising more than 40 nationalities and continues to be a haven for many expatriate families.
