Bathtime detox
A good detox programme cleanses the body of impurities and stimulates internal cleansing. But you don't have to drink raw vegetable juice all day to benefit! A bath and hair regime can also help to eliminate toxins, fat and cellulite, promoting radiant health. Here some simple ways to detox while enjoying a relaxing bath:
- Prior to bathing, massage your body with oils to stimulate your lymphatic system, encouraging circulation and movement of fluids. This aids in detoxification - purging and cleansing the body of impurities.
- When filling the bath, use three to four drops of essential oil. Mix pure salt of marine, ginger, or lemongrass extracts with essential oils, to slough off dead skin, open pores and rid your body of toxins - resulting in toned, velvety soft skin.
- Remove any residue with a body wash enriched in vitamins C and E and minerals from plant extracts, to stave off environmental damage and help decongest and condition skin.
- Apply a gentle face mask infused with ginger and lemongrass to cleanse, tone and polish - leaving your face hydrated and glowing.
- Massage your scalp with a deep conditioning oil formulated with herb extracts, for both a healing and stimulating effect.
- Use a shampoo with plant extracts and essential oils on a weekly basis to remove buildup and environmental residue and soften hair without stripping the natural oils, restoring the pH balance.
- Use a conditioning hair mask to prevent styling damage and add shine and gloss to your locks. Detangle with a natural conditioner if necessary.
- Apply a leave-in conditioner, with natural emollients to prevent tangles and static, to protect your hair from heat-styling damage - leaving it soft and silky.
