Upholstery care

• Soil repellent treatments on fabrics are useful and recommended for upholstery fabrics.
• Fluoro-chemical based treatments such as Scotchgard and Teflon repel water-based and oil-based stains without sacrificing the breathability of fabrics. However, they are not stain-proof. They simply retard the stain and allow for a little extra time to remove a spill before it seeps into material.
• As wool is naturally soil and water repellent such protection treatment may not be necessary. Abitex Sofas
