Art Boot Camp offers fresh, exciting and innovative art education curricula focused on dynamic creative development, to instil a love and passion for art in both children and adults. With instruction driven by a pure passion for the arts, sessions are not only fun but also include experiential learning. With a very small teacher-to-student ratio, you benefit from constant interaction with facilitators, ensuring the learning never stops. Students are encouraged to view topics and themes from different perspectives - so you're not only taught lateral thinking but also lateral seeing! For kids, regular art classes and school vacation workshops are conducted for three to 12-year olds throughout the year.
Art Boot Camp's unique philosophy of arts education was recently proven by the ultimate recognition of one of its very own students. At just 12 years of age, Siow Lee Xian this year became the youngest individual ever to be awarded the $10,000 Platinum Award in the United Overseas Bank (UOB) Painting-Of-The-Year (POY) Competition. Now in its 29th year, this competition pits contestants from all age groups against each other and includes adults, rendering Lee Xian's achievement all the more impressive. The only award in this competition deemed higher is a $30,000 prize, which students aged above 12 years are eligible for. So Lee Xian's win is the highest possible achievement in this competition - testimony to the power of Art Boot Camp's unique art programmes which also includes the elite VANGUARDprogrammeTM for students aged 10 to 14 years.
