Singapore's first and only Argentine restaurant continues to excite diners with its authentic Argentine offerings.

Known for its premium Argentine beef, the restaurant is named after a city in Argentina - Salta. Salta is famous for its food, particularly beef, throughout South America. The cattle in Argentina graze the grass plains freely and openly, resulting in lean meat and less saturated fats. As no hormones or supplements are given, the beef produced is natural, healthy and full of flavour. It is also high in Vitamin B and other nutrients that aid in cancer prevention. Diners in SALTA now enjoy these free range grass-fed beef, all of which are directly imported. The beef is prepared with a touch of sea salt to preserve the meat's natural flavour.

A 5-metre long charcoal fired grill (the parrilla) stands as the spectacular centrepiece of the restaurant. This traditional Argentine grill, which was fabricated in Argentina, is the very soul of the restaurant, cooking cuts of meats while retaining the closest taste and smokiness of Argentine cooking. Creating gastronomic magic, the chef controls the heat by manually shoving burning charcoal and firewood and adjusting the distance of the grill from the coals, imparting distinct and smoky robust flavours to Salta's grill. Guests can marvel at the visual feast, bringing the dining out experience to a whole new level.
